Ingrid Robeyns Symposium at University of Rijeka
On July 12th, an organizational team of political philosophers and political epistemologists from the University of Rijeka’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences formally inaugurated the seventh edition of the Equality and Citizenship Summer School. This conference connects international academics interested in increasing socioeconomic inequalities, civic and human rights, and normative ethical standards. This year’s Summer School opened with a lecture held by Ingrid Robeyns, an esteemed Dutch philosopher and ethicist, and moderated by Hana Samaržija. Robeyns introduced her theory of maximum wealth limits that could bind excessively affluent technological and financial entrepreneurs.
